Being sick and trying to live a normal teenage life is almost impossible some days but I am determined to do it either way. On my good days I go to work or usually spend them with my best friend Ally. But with the good days also come the bad. I like to call those my ugly days because, well, they are just that. Ugly. I look and feel disgusting and thank God for my mother because I am a lot to deal with on those days. I get way too stressed out and depressed but who is always there to pick me back up and make me laugh? Two people; my amazing mother and gorgeous best friend. I mean of course there are others too but these two people keep me moving no matter what. You see, my point is that us Lymies need these people. Everyone really needs a Julie Parker (my mom) and an Ally Denton. I guess this post is me saying thank you not only to my mom and best friend but to all of the parents and friends of a Lyme patient or to any patient or anyone going through a hard time. We know how difficult we are and we may not say it enough but thank you. We will never be able to repay you. I personally love all of you because I know how strong you have to be to deal with us. Thank you.
Hey y'all! This is Josey, I haven't posted anything before and I'm not the best with grammar or spelling and all that jazz so this is me apologizing in advance! I know my mom has been posting serious things and some of my funny moments on here, but you haven't really heard anything from my perspective yet and I was in the mood to share what it is like to be so sick as a teen. It really SUCKS.
